Summary
We collect as little as possible. This marketing site (campusdyno.io) sets no cookies and runs no client-side analytics. The Campus Dyno application (app.campusdyno.io) uses lightweight, privacy-respecting analytics, and nothing fires until you accept its consent banner. We do not sell, share, or monetize your data. If you are in the EU/UK, we ask for consent before any client-side storage. If you are in California, we do not sell or share your personal information.
1. Who We Are
Campus Dyno LLC builds Graph OS, business-graph infrastructure with agents on top, including CPQ and RevOps systems, for scaling technology companies. Our website is campusdyno.io, and the product runs at app.campusdyno.io.
Questions about this policy can be directed to jon@campusdyno.io. We will respond within 30 days.
2. What We Collect and Why
2a. This website (campusdyno.io)
The marketing site is static. It sets no cookies, uses no localStorage or sessionStorage, and loads no third-party analytics or advertising scripts. Our hosting provider produces standard, short-lived server request logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) for security and operations, as any web host does.
2b. The Campus Dyno application (app.campusdyno.io)
With your consent, the application collects usage analytics: pages visited, referring URLs and campaign tags, device and browser type, an anonymous session identifier, and approximate time on page. We use this to understand and improve the product. We do not store your IP address in analytics, do not build advertising profiles, and do not use advertising trackers. Your name and email reach us only through forms you explicitly complete.
If you are a customer, content your organization submits to or syncs with the platform is processed solely to provide the service under your agreement with us, and is covered by our Data Processing Agreement rather than by analytics.
2c. Email you send us and requests you submit
If you email us, use our contact form, request a demo, or request legal documents via the form on our legal page, we collect the details you submit (name, email, company, and any note) solely to respond and fulfill that request. Requests are routed to our internal systems for review and follow-up. We do not add you to marketing lists without explicit consent. You can request deletion at any time by emailing jon@campusdyno.io.
3. Legal Basis for Processing
| Data type | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Client-side storage and analytics on the application | Consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Nothing fires until you accept the consent banner, and you can withdraw at any time. |
| Server request logs | Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR): operating and securing the service. |
| Details you submit through forms or email | Consent at the time of submission. You may withdraw at any time. |
| Customer content on the platform | Performance of a contract: providing the service under your agreement and our Data Processing Agreement. |
4. Cookies and Local Storage
campusdyno.io sets none. On app.campusdyno.io:
| Storage item | Persistence | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Session identifier | Tab session only | Links pageviews within one browsing session. No personal data. |
| Consent preference | Until you clear browser storage | Remembers your accept/decline choice. No personal data. |
| Analytics identifier | Until you clear storage or decline analytics | Set only after you accept the consent banner. Anonymous. |
| Login session cookie | Up to 60 days | Keeps you signed in. Set only when you log in. |
We do not set persistent tracking cookies. If you block all cookies and local storage, the marketing site functions fully; the application works except for staying logged in.
5. How We Share Data
We do not sell or share personal data. We disclose data only to service providers that process it on our behalf and on our instructions, in these categories: hosting and content delivery, application infrastructure and databases, consent-gated product analytics, transactional email delivery, business productivity and internal communications, and AI model providers that process application content to provide the service, under contractual terms that restrict use of that content to providing the service.
Our service providers are located in the United States, and we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses for international transfers where applicable. Customers and prospective customers can request our current, named subprocessor list together with our Data Processing Agreement via the legal page.
6. Data Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy: operational logs are short-lived, analytics data is retained for a limited period and then deleted, and correspondence is kept until the inquiry is resolved or you request deletion. Retention for customer content on the platform is governed by the customer agreement and the Data Processing Agreement.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Request a copy of any personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate personal data
- Request deletion of your personal data
- Object to or restrict how we process your data
- Withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent)
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority
To exercise any of these rights, email jon@campusdyno.io with a description of your request. We will respond within 30 days.
Because we do not store IP addresses or persistent identifiers linked to individuals in analytics, we may be unable to locate analytics data tied to a specific person. We will confirm this in our response if it applies.
8. California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)
Campus Dyno does not sell personal information and does not share personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect and how it is used
- Request deletion of their personal information
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do neither)
- Non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information (we do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by CPRA)
To exercise these rights, contact jon@campusdyno.io. We do not respond to opt-out preference signals (such as Global Privacy Control) because we do not sell or share data, but we respect your right to make this request.
9. European and UK Visitors (GDPR / UK GDPR)
- On the application, we ask for your consent before setting any analytics storage. You can withdraw consent at any time via the consent banner or by contacting us.
- For server-side logs (where no analytics profile is built), our legal basis is legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
- For details you submit, our legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
- You have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority (e.g., the ICO in the UK, or your EU member state authority).
Our data protection contact is jon@campusdyno.io.
10. Children
This website is intended for business professionals and is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EU/UK, where applicable). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly.
11. Accessibility
We design this site to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. If you experience an accessibility barrier, contact jon@campusdyno.io and we will work to address it promptly.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the version and effective date at the top of this document and, where required by law, provide additional notice of material changes.
